She was the Canadian Britney Spears of the 90s. I really don't know much about her. But here's a couple of videos.

With the recent wins of Slumdog Millionaire you can be sure there will be an influx of Indian culture into the entertainment media. Look for these faces to start appearing. I have no doubt Bollywood with start influencing Hollywood.(It's already started. Will Smith center square)
They've already outsourced a lot of the CGI work overseas.
